GLOWA is seeking a dedicated donor to help build a permanent facility to accommodate the GLOWAHaus Rehabilitation program. The facility will include offices, classrooms, workshop facilities, kitchens, laundry room, recreation areas and accommodation.  

 

The aim is to create an environment that promotes a sense of well-being and security so that children can start to re-build their lives.

Shown above are our designs for the GLOWAHaus facility which will provide emergency housing for up to 50 children and 20 staff members in addition to classrooms and workshops for non-resident children. The campus buildings total 1,175 square meters (12,650 square feet) with an outside courtyard, playground and garden.

 

The buildings will be constructed primarily with concrete masonry units on a poured concrete foundation. It is estimated that the project will cost approximately $680,000 to build and will take at least two years to complete.
